The philip canniff house
Built in 1857, this well proportioned brick home was once the property of Phillip Flaglar Canniff. His father, Jonas, gifted him this land, which is located on the east side of “the plank road from Belleville to Canniff’s Mills”.
RESTAURANT SINCE 1995
First a fish and chips restaurant, then The Brick Works Bar, it did not become known as Slapshot Bar & Grill until 1995 and the rest is history.
Over the course of a decade, Slapshot fast became known as Belleville’s favourite pub - “famous for wings”, priding itself on great food and great prices!
